"Absolutely amazing food. Went on a Friday night and service was friendly and prompt. We tried dim sum, sushi, and beef tappanyaki. Sushi was extremely fresh, which you could tell from the taste. This is a hidden gem in Tucson that you must try if you love this kind of cuisine. Can’t wait to go back and try more items. Atmosphere is a little warm and dated and not a great area, but the food more than makes up for it and kind service. Hard to find both things nowadays."
"Love the dim sum is made to order. Delicious. Many choices. Helpful, attentive staff."
"Traveling through Tucson and staying near the airport, I was craving some sushi and decided to give this spot a shot. The reviews were raving about the dim sum, and they had shark fin, so why not? You're given 6 different single sheet front and back printed laminated pages for their overwhelmingly large menu, and two pieces of paper like most dim sum restaurants to tick how many of each dish you want. I ended up with the spicy octopus as an appetizer, the red dragon roll for sushi, and the Chinese sausage, quail egg, shark fin gow, and soup dumplings for dim sum. Way more food than I could reasonably eat, but I didn't really grasp the size of the dim sum dishes. The octopus stated that it came with a spicy sauce for dipping, but, it had no sauce and seemed to have a spicy breading instead. The red dragon roll was good. The thickly cut eel on top was warm from being freshly cooked and the tuna inside was chilled so it had a unique mouth feel. Not the star of the meal, which was surprising for a restaurant with sushi in its name, but very good. The Chinese sausage had pretty bland bao dough, but the sausage itself was tasty albeit skinny. This was my first time trying shark fin gow after falling in love with shark fin soup, and I was underwhelmed. Not a ton of shark, and the surprising addition of carrots. The soup dumplings were awesome, but, they came in individual aluminum tins which made slurping the soup a bit difficult compared to using soup spoons. Their dough was also very thick on top and much thinner on the bottom so some soup got out. Finally though, my absolute favorite was the quail egg shumai. It was like a Japanese "scotch egg". Pork wrapped around the quail egg and wrapped again in dough and steamed to perfection. So delicious. I could've eaten these as a meal by themselves. Definitely recommend!"
"This place was a great find! When you enter and sit down, you'll be greeted by a lot of menus which can be a bit overwhelming, but you will want to try everything on the menu. If you go on Saturday or Sunday, you get offered a dim sum menu and those are the jackpot. We got some pork buns from the menu and they were amazing. They were so soft but cooked to perfection and they are now the standard for any buns going forward. Their sushi was also amazing. The portions are just right and the wait was not long at all. We had the an eel roll and a California tempura (we had another roll with flakes and crab but can't remember what it was). I would probably prefer the baked California roll, but that is just because I prefer the spicy mayo on top. Please give this place a try! I will come back with my girlfriend and hopefully have some insight on the vegetarian options!"
"The food here is amazing! We definitely ordered a bit more than we needed to but it was well worth it. The portions are decently sized and the dim sum is great. Also had the Mongolian beef and it was super tender. I'll definitely be back."
