"After a hike in Sabino I was in the mood for a tender smoked turkey sandwich on fresh garlicky bread role from Brushfire. Hadn’t been to Brushfire in a few months. I arrive… no lights, no cars… “Available” signs in the windows. Oops. What about the other location? Also closed. Too bad… Well, I’m still hungry… what else is around? I remembered an Asian restaurant had replaced Peking Palace, so decided to give Nattha’s Bann Thai a try. Restaurant was clean and peaceful, a few other diners, a mellow place for lunch. The lunch specials menu is predominately classic Chinese dishes with a couple of Thai recipes. I ordered the Stir Fry Fresh Ginger Chicken. It was definitely fresh ginger, lots of succulent white chicken meat, onions, green onions and mushrooms — all very good. Service kind and attentive."
"Go get some! Very friendly staff, quick service, and amazing food. Don't let the prices deter you. You get a lot of food for the money. Next trip, I'm trying the Curry, and I will update you."
"I’ve been looking around Tucson for a good pad Thai and I quite liked this one! My bf found it too funky but I liked it, I think it was the bamboo shoots that did that so if you like it less funky I would just say that if you’re getting veggies to ask them to leave out the shoots! Boyfriend got the green curry and it was delicious and packed with flavor. Great service and fair prices. Especially on beers and cocktails ($4-5 for beers, $8 for cocktails and I believe $7 for a glass of wine). I will be returning for some more pad Thai!!"
"If I could give more than 5 stars on service, I would. They were exceptional. The food was delicious also. We tried the Grilled Beef Salad, the Tom Kha soup with chicken, the Pad Prik Kung, and the Mango Sticky Rice and loved it all. As a compromise, we chose a spice level of 3. My husband, who loves uber spicy food, thought it was just about perfect (could have been a bit spicier). I thought my taste buds were going to be seared off. We won't be sharing dishes next time!"
"Great Thai noodles. We had chicken drunken noodles and chicken pad see eew. Both big portions and had enough leftover for lunch. Flavors are really spot on. I'm certain this little place will become super busy and we are going to come back to try some other Thai favorites that all looked good on everyones plates. Their potstickers are made with in house dough and we ate them so fast we forgot to take a picture - but they were perfectly fried crispy and tasted fresh and light. They also have cocktails and beers from Thailand and other places. The place has only been open for about 18 mos. Happy to have a great Thai noodle place on the east side with big helpings at a good price. You don't find that too often anymore and the service was quick and friendly."
