"My Friends took me for my Bday . The wait was a nice time. We went shopping and then received a call the table was ready. Ordered and the food came shortly after. Very tasty. Just never hit refills on water. Our beverage order took a little longer than we expected. But its clean and cozy and a great addition to the north Eastside. The Birthday dessert fed the whole table. A little loud inside . . I would nit suggest a large party . But fir our group of 7 we enjoyed being out together. Beautiful area. Chefs were quick and we all thought it was delicious!! Thankyou for a great evening."
"Overall experience was good. To start we got there and there was a wait for a table or immediate spot at sushi bar, so we opted for that. The people making the sushi were incredible and their timing was perfect. Honestly made the experience 10x better. Roll quality was good. I would argue that it’s a little overpriced for what you get… and for that reason it won’t be our regular go to sushi spot. The order yourself on paper is fine, but the options vs available descriptions made it challenging for dietary ordering. The staff making the rolls were honest and confident about ingredients which was great. We got three Ginza specialty rolls, two basic rolls, and edamame. It’s definitely somewhere to go with friends or have a more dark and intimate setting for date night."
"The handful of times I’ve come here, there has always been a waiting list. We were told the wait would be 25-30 minutes, but in reality it was at most ten minutes. The food is good! We shared a bowl of chashu tonkatsu ramen, squid tempura, teppan gyoza, and maguro sushi, everything savory & satisfying. Split a large Sapporo. Pleasant ambience, good service, nice evening."
"First time here, but it sure won't be the last! Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and the service was outstanding. We ordered a Philadelphia Roll, the Mango Roll, the Heart Attack and the Baked Scallop Roll. I can honestly say we did not have one bad or mediocre thing. Favorite though? The Heart Attack. Drinks were equally as good. The Cherry Blossom & Typhoon are pictured here & were so good we had a second round! The chefs were amazing to watch in action & friendly. We will definitely return & spread the word!"
"Expensive for the quality and quantity. It was better than mediocre, and we paid over $90 for 5 smaller than average rolls and shrimp with noodles. For that expense, I would have expected some complimentary mizo soup or edamame. It was rated #1 on Yelp for sushi (the whole reason we went), and honestly I've been to better places in Tucson for sushi. There were lots of people there. It's small inside, the bathrooms were cute with the rock displays on the floor, but out of soap. The atmosphere was nice, dimly lit but very loud and our waiter spoke quietly we couldn't hear him. I don't think it'd go back. Not anything special and overpriced. The specialty rolls... weren't much better than the regular rainbow and dragon rolls. Not impressed, but it wasn't bad. If I went again I'd try a sushi boat... but may not be anytime soon."
