Reviews
"We had high hopes for Fatman after reading reviews & viewing photos. Sunday night takeout of General Tso's Chicken and Vegetarian Trio. Awful! We could have returned it if they are closer. General Tso's Chicken was over cooked, dark meat chicken (we requested) was very hard to chew, and sauce way too sweet. Vegetarian Trio was too salty and tofu was leathery. Rice was over done and a soggy mess. Too much sauce, overcooked EVERYTHING, it was so disappointing and we feel robbed at $30 bucks! Both hubby and I are East Coast transplants, hubby is from NYC, so this was especially painful for him. If you're going to waste $$ on bad Chinese food go to Panda. Yes, it was that bad."
"Good American Chinese food with good portions. The chilli oil is amazing! The general tso was too sweet for me, it was red from the sweet and sour sauce. The beef lo mein was good, lots of beef. The pot stickers, fried, were very good."
"We had some great food and great service here today and will be back again. The eggplant and garlic was phenomenal! The salty and spicy chicken wings were some of the best I've had. Ma po tofu is one of my favorite Chinese dishes but this one had a strange flavor (metallic to me) to it on the back end, may have been MSG. I've tasted it before at another Chinese restaurant in Tucson eating ma po tofu as well but only two places so far. Would love to know what that 'taste' is. I won't have the ma po tofu again but everything else was amazing!"
"Having lived in Asia for three years and living in SF now, I did not plan to try an Asian restaurant in Tucson but a store clerk I met at Mercado recommended this place so I gave it a try- My friends and I loved every dish we got here. Definitely get a noodle dish especially Xian Oil noodle which was fantastic! My friend’s favorite was their eggplant dish. Not only food was amazing here but also the owner was so kind and wonderful."
