"2/13/24- This is the usual place that hires pretty young girls all dressed in black. They're too young and don't seem to have enough experience, but then again, how will they get the experience. But the real problem with it is how the building is designed. No matter where you sit, it's loud. Also, if you're in the room closest to the patio, the door constantly opens from the servers going back and forth. While you would think there would be a great view from almost every room, the fact is the pillars outside block it. This restaurant is probably great in the spring, fall, and summer, but it's not great in the winter. As for the food, it was good! We had the calarmi, sope (a creamy potatoe veggie cheese concoction), the bacon wrapped medjool dates, short rib tacos, and fish tacos. The fish tacos had too much sauce/coleslaw and it ruined the flavor. The white rice that came on the side could of been better. Black beans were fine. The dates were good. I'll go back for the short rib tacos, sit at the bar, but I probably won't order anything else."
"First time here and this was our last night in Tucson before driving back to Illinois. Food was great, service was very slow. Husband and I shared the beet salad and got the empanada and fish special."
"Excellent menu with a nice variety of tapas as well as main dishes. Flavors are very nicely balanced within the dishes. Drink menu has a nice variety for different tastes, and the wine list is extensive, although they could possibly offer more selection by-the-glass. Service was impeccable, with our server Trevor being kind, knowledgeable, and efficient. They served a nice complimentary cake for a birthday, which was a nice touch. For three people, we ordered everything to share: batatas bravas, pulpo (octopus), fish of the day (grouper), and the parillada platter for two, as well as drinks."
"This was a real find. I am a real picky eater of Mexican / Latin and had never eaten here before. The view overlooking Tucson is stunning and the food even better. The gazpacho soup was smooth and succulent. Each taco was better than the next. The servers were superb. The best meal I had in Tucson and one of the best in memory"
