"Rudest employees I have ever seen in a restaurant! Food is awful. The fries were clearly old and reheated."
"Awesome food!! They have stuff already made that is fabulous! They also have a grill and cook great food while you wait! Definitely a great place to get out of the heat for a while when you visit the museum!! The staff were very friendly and helpful with questions!"
"The Flight Grill used to be known for providing excellent meals in years past. I’ve been visiting the museum for 20+ years and always looked forward to eating lunch there. Sadly, the new revised restaurant operation has ruined what was once a great experience. The quality of the food has declined greatly while the prices have soared. Gone is the delicious, hand-dipped ice cream in a variety of flavors. All that’s available now are prepackaged items typically found in your basic gas station convenience store. Many visitors to Tucson know that it’s famous for its signature Sonoran Hot Dog and The Flight Grill used to serve one of the best in the city: a bacon-wrapped hot dog grilled and served on a soft, warm bolillo-style hot dog bun, then topped with pinto beans, sautéed onions, pico de gallo, and a variety of additional condiments, such as mayonnaise, mustard, Mexican crema, and jalapeño salsa. These days The Flight Grill is charging $14 for an overcooked hot dog on a regular cold bun sprinkled with onions, Kraft shredded cheddar cheese, and a minuscule dollop of Mexican crema. That is NOT a Sonoran Hot Dog! I literally had one bite and found it so revolting that I threw the rest in the trash where it belonged."
"First time at the boneyard and couldn’t be happier! I’ve always loved planes and I’ve always loved food as well but I’m giving this grill 3 stars not because of the chicken, salad or fries. All of that was great. It’s the fact that it’s just a cafe/snack bar which I’ve tasted before. Loved the experience and definitely see myself coming back."
"Museum is amazing and the food was okay. My Caesar salad was a salad. The fruit cup was fresh. It’s more of a “snack bar” or cafe vibe but, the price doesn’t really line up. $30 for a salad, chicken strips, a side of fries, and a side of fruit. The sides were $3.50 each and in hindsight what jacked up the price. I gave 3 stars because, I’d probably come back and the atmosphere on the porch is wonderful!"
