"I'll admit it... I was skeptical before coming to eat here. Some of the reviews were concerning at best and I always want to get my money's worth when I give any restaurant my business. However, after having eaten here, I am astonished that anyone could be narrow-minded enough to give anything less than 5 stars. This restaurant boasts lofty claims of having some of the best in town for many of their dishes and now I can see why. Their pork buns were hot, fluffy, and delicious, and I had to order more because I couldn't get enough of them. I also had the steak bento and it was incredibly tender and was seasoned to absolute perfection. Even their simple dishes such as the spicy edamame and crab puffs were fantastic and shows the attention to detail and quality that they emphasize on. To address the complaints about the speed of service I saw on some reviews, they are a bit understaffed, so the food was a bit slow to arrive but they have signs addressing this, so I'm shocked that people still complained. All of the staff that we interacted with were polite, professional, and helpful and made us feel right at home. To summarize; Give this place a try and ignore all of the reviews from grumpy Karens and take it from someone who can actually appreciate good food... You won't regret it. :)"

"Ordered pasted beef egg chow fun, beef noodle soup. Both were good, but the pasted chow fun was so bland, so had to add a lot of salt in it. But it was still tasty and flavorful. It would have been perfect it had more salt in it.(tried this menu several times, and previous ones were good) Beef noodle soup was really good. Server was attentive."

"This was a nice Chinese restaurant, the food was a bit salty for my liking, the mark tofu could use lot less salt. As for the bbq beef soup it was good but it was also salty. The server was super nice and the atmosphere was good. Overall a good experience and a decent Chinese restaurant to try."

"81 HK Cafe serves some of the best and most authentic Cantonese and Taiwanese dishes in Tucson! Born and raised in Hong Kong, I so appreciate this place because it reminds me of home. :) They have a wide array of dishes including dim sum and hotpot. My husband and I have been coming here frequently since 2021 and we have never been disappointed! We love their taro milk tea with oat milk, lemon black tea with Yakult (a probiotic drink from Asia), black pepper shrimp, curry beef with potatoes, Singaporean rice noodles, XO beef soup noodle, beef chow fun, pasted beef chow fun, Taiwan sausage fried rice, and many other dishes. You can always ask to add more veggies to your dishes too. The chef and owner David as well as their servers are always super nice! The atmosphere and decor is relaxing, modern, and chic. Their portions are so generous we always go home with delicious leftovers. We also order DoorDash from them when we are in the mood for Chinese food but don't want to go out. This place is five stars all around and we are grateful it's in Tucson! ☀️"

"Enjoyed dining at 81 Hong Kong Cafe and I must say it was a fantastic experience! The food was absolutely delicious - fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. I particularly enjoyed the Chicken Bites as it was cooked perfectly and bursting with flavor. The restaurant itself was clean, bright, and well-maintained with pleasant atmosphere that made for a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience The staff at 81 Hong Kong were also top-notch - friendly, welcoming, and attentive to every need. As if that wasn’t enough, we got a complementary dessert cake at the end of our meal - truly a delicious way to cap off an already wonderful experience."
