"I’m visiting Tucson for the first time and enjoying the authentic Southwest flavor of this city. The menu at Charro Vida is both creative and authentically Southwestern. There bowl is highly customizable but not only with simple ingredients but rather they let you combine several tapas type items into one dish. The servers where really friendly and on point. And helped us to make the most of the menu."

"So many wonderful vegan options! Get the bread pudding. It was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Warm bread, candied pecans, and cool ice cream on top. Amazing."

"Great service and atmosphere. Tons of vegetarian options. I had the yuca fries (incredible) and vida bowl. The latter was ok, I highly recommend getting the salsa Verde on the side for added flavour, makes it much better."

"Beautifully appointed restaurant in a lovely grouping of other eateries and shops. Our hostess and waitress seemed irritated at our questions. She was short with us even though there was only one other table of guests. The food was mediocre at best. Bland. The chickpeas and rice that came with the meals were seasoned with only garlic which left everything tasting harsh and the same. I am a chef and had excitedly planned my trip here for weeks. Very disappointed in the presentation and flavors."

"Great lunch spot. My daughter is diabetic and was able to find a delicious, healthy dish that met her dietary needs. I had a great burger, and we both enjoyed the iced green tea. Nice atmosphere for a relaxing lunch. Plus they sell the El Charro salsa there, so we were able to stock up on that."
