"Very good all around. Was hoping they had chicken Marsalla but had to settle for spaghetti with meat sauce and ravioli. It was very good."
"Wonderful atmosphere, great food, and the service was tremendous! We had a vegan in our party and they were most accommodating. Check out the back patio! A hidden gem of Tucson. I'm definitely going back!!"
"From the Sweet hostesses to the amazing support staff… Everything was on point. Jacob was an attentive server, but didn't spend too much time at the table table… The lasagna was incredible… I really order it because I'm so picky, but it was wonderful."
"Go for the traditional family Italian food! Interior murals & lights are a bit tacky, but you don't mind because the festive atmosphere and coziness to other customers make up for it. A wheelchair lift on 4th, next to the front entry stairs, makes access easy for all. The restaurant is divided into rooms, both small and medium-sized, with an additional exterior patio as an option. Red & white checked tablecloths drive home that you're at a genuine Italian joint. We were a large group on a busy late night, but the service was good, and the staff was pleasant. Order the table an Antipasta Salad appetizer (available for 1, 2, 3, etc.) and enjoy the artichokes, garbanzo beans, lettuce, salami, pepperoni, black olives, pepperonchinis and rotini pasta drizzled with Italian dressing along with the toasted garlic bread on the table. Their sweet Moscato wine was great. I've previously ordered their eggplant parm, which is a cheese lover's dream, and the lazagne. Upon this visit, the Caruso Special was chosen & arrived on a platter sized dish, had a bit of everything traditional, and was delicious! Get a takeout/to-go box for leftovers and enjoy again on your next meal. Giant spinach & cheese ravioli dish was a hit at our table, also. If you like spumoni ice cream, then you'll love ❤️ Caruso's version. Their sliced layered slab version might have included tiny chocolate chips or crumbled cookies in it. It was so yummy and enough for two to share after a large meal."
"We visited during Christmas week with family, for a total of 9, and a reservation at 7 midweek. Upon arrival we were told that they were getting our table ready. Thirty minutes later, after checking in a few times with staff seemingly operating in slow motion, we were finally seated at a table right inside the door in small room on the left. I noticed this table empty earlier, not cleared or set for some time, so our wait was because the table was not bussed and set. Our waiter was definitely either slow, or in the weeds, or both, because the table next to us had an uncleared table and were comped desserts on top of their pile of plates, and another table that was sat well before us didn't even have their water yet. Once settled, we ordered a large antipasto platter and large pizza as appetizers right away because we were famished by now. The entrees were very good, but prices are a definitely a bit high, and the meat dishes don't come with sides of spaghetti, so that's an add-on. Be careful with the diavalo sauce, because it was too hot to eat, so one side of spaghetti was a goner. We were shorted one entree, for a 12 year old, and that one took a while to come out, so he was watching up all eat. All said, the food was really good. Portions were average sized, certainly not large, and the service started out poorly but got better as the restaurant was clearing out as we were finishing up."
