Reviews
"I picked up a pizza last week and the guy working the counter decided to give himself a 15% tip without telling me. Didn't see it till reviewing credit card transactions. I guess he felt he wasn't worth 20% so nice and humble of him. The pizza is ok, but I don't like to be stolen from. I can't imagine I was the only person he did this to so if you stop there check your statements."
"Delicious pizza! Had the Detroit meat lovers and this thing was filling! Could feed 3-4 people depending on how hungry you are. My kiddos had a regular pepperoni pizza and it was delicious as well. We dined in, very small with only 2 1/2 tables there. Luckily was not too busy dining in, but a lot of people were pick up. Will eat here again when in the area."
"Detroit Pizza is best in town and better than some in MI. Thin crust is always solid as well. Better quality ingredients than a lot of other spots in Tucson."
"I use to love coming here for pick up orders, it’s some of the best pizza near my home and I’ve been coming since they opened. Today my mother wanted a calzone and normally will buy a calzone and split it and still have a little left over. Today my calzone was HALF the size it normally is. When I called the store they said they had made portions smaller (I’m assuming due to inflation) but when I’m paying 14$ for the BREAD before even adding toppings (they charge between 2.19 - 2.79 EACH topping INCLUDING garlic) I think that’s ridiculous. Why not save giving out two marinara sauces cause the small calzone I bought today certainly didn’t even need all of one of them. Was disappointing; disappointing that to cut costs on what probably costs them a dollar at MOST they wanna charge 20$ for enough food to barely feed a single person. Honestly not sure if I’ll be returning or not, at this point I’ll drive into town and get rozattis before I support twin peaks pizzeria again. I will say the food is great, though some of the best pizza in north Tucson, but quality has certainly Diminished since they opened (Referring to photo: the calzone use to touch both corners of the box :/)"
"This place has amazing pizza and a very cool staff/manager. My wife and I really liked it here. Its now our new favorite! At first they accidentally forgot to put our pepperoni on and they let us know once they realized. Instead of tossing that pizza they have itnto us for free and made us the correct pizza. Very professional and kind. Then they gave us two $5 off coupons for that happening. I cant think of another place that is this good to their customers. This location has a chill, small scale but classy feel. Some room for dine in, 2 TVs, and nice decor. Pizza tasted like all the ingredients were fresh. They make their own sausage there too. Highly recommended!"
