Rocco's Little Chicago

"Saw this place featured on DDD, so we had to check it out! This place is pretty small, so there can be a pretty long wait at times. We went on Friday night, so it was pretty busy. We waited about 15-20 minutes for a table, so not horrible. We ordered pretty much everything Guy ate with the addition of a Cesar salad. The Spicy Hot Sticks were off the charts good. The Cesar salad was disappointing, really no flavor and no Parmesan. The wings were some of the best wings I've ever had, nice crunch and awesome flavor. After the wings, we sat there for another 30 minutes (approximately 50 minutes after ordering). Our server never once checked in with us. A nice gentleman came out and asked us if he could help us. We told him we were waiting on our pizza. He came back and said it would be another 10 minutes. It seems they prioritize to-go orders over patrons at the restaurant. Needless to say the pizza was good, but not great. The flavor just wasn't there. I don't think I would bother to go back, but those wings!"

"We walked in and were seated pretty quickly. They were very busy, but our server came over in a proper time frame. He looked and spoke like Badger on Breaking Bad. He got our drinks and took our order, which wasn't complicated. We got our salads within 15 minutes and ate them. My drink was out, so I asked for more. The server forgot about it and it wasn't until another server came by 15 minutes later. 1 hour in and the server told us it would be another hour for our 2 pizzas. We spent 2 hours at the restaurant for pizza and salads. They took nothing off the bill and never admitted that they forgot to put the order in. Pizza had fresh ingredients, and salads were decent. Service needed improvement."

"Oh man, I'm so glad my brother-in-law passed the word on this awesome little place.. first time there with my wife.. Started with mild and BBQ wings. Excellent. Piping hot and crispy, great sauce. The deep dish pizza... whoa. Amazing sauce. Huge cheese pull. Even the crust was awesome. Fair warning.. even on a week day this small place fills up QUICK. we got there just after 5pm on a Tuesday and it was pretty quiet... By 6 it was wait time to get a table. I can see why. This is going to be a regular date spot for us without question"

"Food is delicious! The thin crust is thin but not too thin. Crunchy pepperoni. And cheese melted to perfection. We started with the Italian Beef with the hot peppers—so good. Prepare to make a mess but worth it. Restaurant could use a deep clean - the patio area smelled stale when we walked through it. Service was good. Bar had limited but sufficient selection of alcohol and beer."

"Did some take out the other day. I’ve been to Chicago and eaten pizza at all the top spots there. Rocco’s is right there with them. Crust is buttery and flaky with good chew and not soggy. Pizza was a bit pricey, but we got 2 home and together they both weighed almost 9 pounds!!! They definitely don’t skimp on ingredients here! 5 stars all day! Money well spent for amazing authentic Chicago deep dish in Tucson!"
