99 Cents Only Stores

"Lots of neat stuff. I love to shop here! I had no idea they carried fresh vegetables and fruit. Better price and just as fresh as your local grocery store. The cashiers here need to brush up on their customer service. It does not matter if you work at a 99 cent store or some high end retail store….treat customers as you would wish to be treated. A friendly smile goes a long way. There are some people who will go to a specific store just because of how friendly the employees are. Especially in today’s market customers like to feel valued and want to know they are appreciated for spending the money they have in your store. It’s not always the prices that keep customers coming back. If customers feel they are treated poorly they may start to shop elsewhere and if there aren’t enough customers shopping there to buy your merchandise, the bottom line will be effected and will have to eliminate positions completely or reduce the hours of staff. Even a smile goes a long way"

"There was this older lady employee that works there, that had the most absolute worst attitude and followed me and my kids around the store because she didnt like how one of them opened the fridges to get juice that i had specifically told them to get. Ive been shopping at this store for years but every time I come, this specific lady has an issue, she asked for my ID for some sodas i was buying, and when i corrected her she got upset."

"So this is possibly the closest you'll come to finding an actual "99 cents" store, as a lot of the products still cost only ¢.99, but more and more they offer stuff that's more than that. It's a little misleading. Just yesterday I was there and saw packs of small batteries that were almost 5 bucks a pack. But one of the best sections in my opinion would be the produce, located in the back of the store. There are always good deals to be found, and yesterday I got some of the biggest, juiciest peaches Ive ever seen! Like any store, you just have to pay attention to the price tags when shopping to find the good deals. Overall it's usually a good stop for some of the essentials."
