Reviews
"Delicious fried chicken sandwich and great beer selection. I tried their prickly pear beer lager and loved it. It’s also super dog friendly. Almost every FOH and occasional BOH staff offered them water. I hung out for about two hours while I searched for my next adventure on the road and the staff didn’t mind me at all. I’m so glad I checked this place out. I left with a growler of one of their IPAs."
"When we entered there wasn’t any staff around so we just sat down. The service is not good. We ordered the fried ravioli which was good. I asked for ranch and thought it tasted odd. Opened the second ranch to see if it was better and there was a dark long hair right on top. Lost my appetite. Waitress just said sorry. If it was my place of work, I would have offered a free plate or something. This is unacceptable. Had to ask for our check and instead of getting something that shows an itemized bill, the waitress just showed us our total on the electronic device. Once she entered the card she just left it on the table and left and never came back. Will not be returning. Our total was $86 and food was horrible."
"-FOURTH AND FINAL TIME- Everytime the service has been a let down so that was expected coming into the place. But the food matched the service today and the combination has made me vow to never come back. Unfortunate because I live downtown. Word of mouth is a strong form of advertisement and I have nothing good to tell my friends/family about this place. I would simply say -Do not go there. I know I will protest when someone suggest. Cheers! -Monday February 6 Approx. 4pm- You can see the place is more a hang out for the staff than a job. Everyone is seated at the bar, talking, exchanging validation on their phones everytime I've come in. Our waitress asked us to close our tab only minutes after sending our food order in. I have NEVER closed a tab before recieveing my food. I asked if we could transfer to the bar but she insisted he would take care of us if we needed anything else. I felt pressured and agreed to close the tab. BUT was I suppose to tip 20%? The only thing the girl did was put our food order in, drop my salad off, and disspears to do her checkout- where was the service? I was taught to check in a couple minutes after dropping food to ensure the customer is satisfied. I was not, so there my salad sat on the edge of the table for 10+ minutes. No service. Our pizza was due any minute so I decided I would just eat that. The salad cost as much as the pizza and 70% of it was a chunk of iceberg. No onions and maybe a tablespoon of tomatoes on a large salad?! I wish I would have taken a picture of it but at this point I wasn't planning on writing a review. As I stood up to take my plate, another worker walks to the kitchen, staring at her phone, while my plate sits on the edge of the table. I'm annoyed at this point. I wanted to see if she could remove the salad before closing the check. There was our waitress hiding at the other side of the resteruant, doing her check out. She said the manager could fix the bill although it had been closed. The manager was dropping our pizza. The girl who was staring on her phone, who walked past my salad, (that was sitting at the edge of the table) that was the manager. who also had multiple rips in her jeans, front side, and above the thighs on the backside. Not appropriate. Our pizza was wrong!!! And cold. The cheese was still shredded as you see in the picture. My bf is already embarrassed over the salad situation and asked me to stay quite. But when she came back to check on us (probably only because i complained about the service) You could visibility see I was upset. I told her the cheese on the pizza wasn't even melted, her response was "would you like me to make you another " -she should have looked at the pizza and saw it was unacceptable. We were clearly not happy and she clearly did not care. For the high cost of eating there, they should ensure you leave with a smile. Or atleast give some damn service. Save yourself and go elsewhere! This is my first review. I don't leave reviews but this was the worst experience I've had dining. Still mad I paid for a cold pizza."
"I regretted that I couldn't stay longer. Everything was excellent. The beer, the service and the food. Definitely worth a stop."
"Great place! Love a brewery that also has cocktails! Prickly pear goodness is available for your enjoyment. Wedge Salad is perfect as it comes on the menu (no add on's needed) Wasted money by adding the steak. The beef was served cold and wasn't tender in the least. It wasn't what I was expecting, but I tossed it to the side and went to town on everything else. Friend enjoyed the chicken sandwich with a Gluten-Free bun that wasnt mentioned on the menu. Attentive staff. Very nice environment."
