"Do NOT recommend. They do not have good communication skills at all and their body work is equally as bad. When I dropped my car off, I told them I already had a partial payment from the insurance company and for them to file for supplement for the rest. I was told it'd take 5-10 days to replace my door, it took 17 days with no communication. I drove by and seen that my car was fixed. So I called, after being put on hold to figure things out, they were still waiting for payment, the payment I told them I already had. When I picked up car I found that they had gotten globs of clear coat running down my turn signal, broke the plastic trim peice to hold my window controls in and threw away stuff I had to run the wires to my dash cam. I also asked them if they couldn't paint my door badge the exact color I custom painted it to leave it off and I would do that myself, as it's easier off the car. They put my ORIGINAL embem on and charged the insurance for a new one and even made the paint worse than the accident did. They also charged the insurance company to remove the turn signal, but I recieved it back woth clear coat on it. So either really careless or another lie to get more money. I took it back and showed them all of this, left happy thinking it was going to be taken care of. It was a little over 2 weeks and I figured I'd call to see if there was an ETA on that part arriving so I could have it and the clear coat issue fixed as it's annoying with stuff hanging out the side of the driver door. I was told I'd be called back, ok no problem. Well the call never came, so I called back as I'm loosing hope. I was put on hold for a bit and when they got back on they told me they have no clue there is no ETA. I told them it's been over 2 weeks, I should atleast have an ETA by now or even conformation that it was ordered. They said no. I asked if I could just have the funds to get that part as I can order it online and it said it'd be here by next week. She put the boss, Clint on, he was aggressive sounding from the beginning. Telling me it's fine and they'll call when the part is in and that he won't give money so I can get my car fixed myself then the phone went dead. I called back to find out he actually hung up on me and told me I had the best technician he has, it wasn't broke, he's done with me and not doing anything. Also if I call back they'll press harassment charges on me. So here I sit with a shotty job done and broken parts while they have $2,808.80. It's been 3 months since I picked it up with promises of them fixing what they broke... I can safety say they're not going to make it right. I highly recommend avoiding Chris' Autobody at all cost."
"Quite happy with the work they did for us. Work was done in a reasonable amount of time. We would recommend them to anyone in need of auto body repair."
"Outside rear tire on my dually (Michelin) lost the tread cap, took out my wiring, air hose, interior fender, exterior fender, tire well shroud, back up camera (and then a lot more damage to the 5th wheel I was towing [covered by another ins. co.]). When (very quickly) Chris's was through it looked as good as new and you would never guess what had happened. My sincerest thanks for a job very well done."
"Travesty from beginning to end—the end being I having to take my truck to another body shop to fix what they apparently wouldn’t or avoided doing. I don’t know personally, but I’m sure there are some good people at Chris’ repair shop, but it’s my assessment that the workmanship is poor, and it was weak in management, without the least understanding of the personal ramifications and inconvenience of having a working man’s truck for about six or seven weeks. After a few days of working on my repair, they called to tell me something like they “forgot to include the replacement cost for the side view mirror.” Which mirror? The busted and broken one, half-hanging off of my truck in the pics. They tried to persuade me to pony up another nearly $1000 on top of the original estimate. My answer? No. They tried to explain to me that an estimate is only preliminary and that I would have to cover anything that was discovered during disassembly—or something like that. Which, naturally, makes sense, but that doesn’t apply to those things clearly seen when working up the bid. In their approximate own words, “we forgot to include the side view mirror in the estimate, and so we want to add over $900 to your repair bill.” Just, no. This seemed to make the manager-guy resentful toward me or something, as he never did call me to let me know when it was ready, and he was, by my standards, rude when I picked it up, after calling to ask them if it was getting close to ready—having had such an extended waiting period without it. At this point the body work looks as if it was done by an amateur. You can see multiple dents, paint runs that they tried to sand and rub out, a bubble in the door paint, a dent on the front fender where it appears they damaged it in the installation of the new fender—it looks terrible. The irony is, I got a lower bid and a higher bid. I typically find a middle point when choosing a service and repair company, so I went with them. Now I’m sorry I did, and am reminded of it every time I look at my truck and see the abysmal work. As a side note, I like to give businesses the benefit of the doubt, and leave good to excellent reviews. I’m giving this company a generous “1” for their truly disappointing work, long wait without my necessary work truck, no contacts, rudeness from the manager guy when interacting with him, and for insisting that I pay for the mirror they overlooked (see pics). They also gave me a $300 cash discount, presumably to save on credit card costs, but when I went to pay for it to pick it up, the price had been boosted by several hundred dollars. That said, I cannot recommend this company for your body shop needs. To Chris’ Auto Body, remember, what goes around, comes around. I laugh at your company’s principles of business. Don’t you realize you will see me around our small town sometime? Don’t you realize how awkward that would be for you? Silly boys."
"My car's front bumper and right side lights were damaged in an accident. Chris' Auto Body (CAB) worked well with the insurance company and demanded high quality parts so that my car would look as good as new. When the after-market bumper suggested by the insurance company came in and CAB installed it, they called to tell me it just didn't look good enough to put their name on it. They ordered the market bumper and installed it with no hassle to me and had the insurance company pay for it. When I came and got my car, I was amazed by the workmanship. It literally looks like new. I would highly recommend CAB. See two before and after photos below."
