"They have the worst customer service. This place was used by my landlords management company and they have been nothing but a problem. Starting with them taking over a month to get a control board for my fridge that I could’ve got on Amazon in 2 days. To them ending up having to replace the fridge entirely because the “repair tech” ended up drilling a hole into the freezer from the fridge during the so called repair. Mind you the person they send is 80plus yrs old and can’t hear you or doesn’t care to. Now I have to wait for them to “repair” the seal on the “Refurbished”fridge that they swapped for my other one that they damaged. And they gave me a significantly older model as well."
"A bunch of run around. Bought a washer that was "rebuilt"for $325. Used it six time and it started jumping around laundry room and leaking everywhere. Called for service three weeks ago and got a no call show up at 5 pm seven days later. Said it was bad suspension they will cover it. Called back a week later, squidbillies sister in the office told me the leak wasnt found not their problem. Next day went to see Norm, shrugged me off. Went online and found the parts offered to send them a link. Said no they have their ways. A week later fixed it myself with new suspension. Still jumps around ad sounds like a freight train. I didn't know I was buying a 300lb paper weight. If you want to feel like you've been pickpocketed go see the friendly folks at waynes appliances! Squidbillies sister will happily offer you a guarantee and run your credit card for trash."
"The grandma told her grandson to be a con artist she didnt know she was on speaker phone. I have decided to get my refund since she said that to her grandson. Then the grandma was rude about giving me my refund. I had to get in an argument with her because she has poor customer service skills. Lost my business. Just get your appliances at a reputable place like lowes, sears, or home depot down the 95 hwy."
"I had an issue with my defrost timer on my fridge. I called Wayne's and asked if they had the part without even asking for the model number they stated they had it and it would be $20. I look online at pricing and it is about mid range for the part (at this point I think the part is new since they never stated it was a used part). If you call them out I would double check that the parts are new and not used parts that they are selling at the same price as new parts. I buy the part anyway since I need the fridge to work, upon removing the defrost timer I notice that it has a ground wire that the new part does not have a post for and the unit on the back is larger. I am thinking that the new unit is self grounding due to better ways of doing things. I go back down to Wayne's to confirm this and to double check that I have the correct replacement part before I cut the ground wire off (had to cut it since the compressor grounds to the same place). I go in and the woman in the office tells me that "He is out on calls". I can understand this so I ask if she knows when he will be back so I can come back and ask him. Again she says "No", I then ask if she can call him then, again she says "No". I then ask if I can leave my number and she says "No". It wasn't until I said to her "Lady I know your busy watching T.V. but maybe you could take 5 min and give your paying customers some customer service" that she took my phone number. Then she informed me that I was talking to the business owner which appalled me even more. I let her know that she was a horrible business owner. I wish I would have read the reviews, I finally called A plus Appliance Service and they confirmed that yes I needed to just cut the wire which they did not have to do since I bought the part elsewhere (I wish I would have though it was $10 more but it would have been brand factory sealed part.)"
"I contacted Wayne's Appliance in hopes of getting our Whirlpool side by side refrigerator repaired. The initial service call was timely and that's where anything that could be called good service ended. Norm said the fan needed to be replaced and proceeded to order the part. Over the next few weeks (even after he said the part was in) repeated promises to fix our refrigerator were not kept. This is a high end rental condo and we had a monthly rental client coming in September 30. But eventually, he finally got in and replaced the fan and told us everything was working. We then paid him for the work. Imagine my distress when our guests called on arrival to say everything was beautiful except that the refrigerator wasn't working! At all!! I calmly called Wayne's and talked to a gentleman and politely expressed my dissatisfaction. He promised to immediately call Norm who was out on a repair. Still I had to call them back. He said Norm would try to get by later today. I could see there was no sense of urgency and I could not imposition our out of state guests further. I then called Upton Appliance and purchased a new refrigerator to be delivered the next day. I called Wayne's back to tell them what I had to do and that I would like to hear from Norm. I have never received the decency of a phone call. Never have the words "buyer beware" been truer when you deal with Norm, Fran and Wayne's Appliance! I wasted over $200 for nothing! They are all about taking your money and not delivering any value in return based on our experience! Bad deal!!"
