The Chicken Shack

"When you walk in (actually when you drive in), you may be shocked at the place you're planning on actually eating at. This place looks like an old car hop place from the 50s, and as far as I know, it may very well be. No speakers and menus, however, as you'll actually need to walk in. They have a limited number of tables inside and a few outside. Don't, however, be scared off by any of this. We ordered the 3 chicken finger meals, and the fingers are more like half a breast. They could have called it a 3 half breast meal, but that would be strange to see on several accounts. The fingers were hot, tasty, and not greasy. They have about a dozen dipping sauces to choose from, and the fries are the breaded fries that were crispy and tasty. The price seemed a bit high at $14, but given the inflation we have been living through, it's getting to be normal. All in all, we will return."

"$24 for 12 wings, not happening, settled for 3 wings & 3 strip combo. Chicken was average, burgers were actually better. Fries were good also. The exhaust system appeared to be in need of repair. Both front and rear doors blocked open. I'm guessing to allow the smoke from the fryers to escape,strong grease fryer odor. The dining area is not the cleanest. Employees were pleasant and accommodating."

"Great place for a quick bite with friends and family or even by yourself. The cashier helped me out with the combo that fits my needs and it was a great tasting meal. Crispy crunchy with zesty sauce."

"I have never eaten a Chicken shack but reviews looked well. This Chicken shack is very small and quaint when I entered there were three people working they all said hello and asked me how I was doing I asked what their most famous menu item was and right away was told the buffalo chicken fries. When eating at a place like this I usually ask what they're known for so I ordered it when it came out I was pleasantly surprised it was very large had lots of french fries and lots of chicken The fries were very crisp had a good flavor and the chicken was excellent The breading was good plenty of hot sauce and ranch on top but not too much.... if you don't mind a little hot I would recommend this dish. The staff were absolutely amazing asking how I was doing if I liked my meal or needed anything else. The place was very clean... I appreciated the hello and help with the menu and I really really appreciated the meal I will definitely go back if I have the chance .....check them out and order the buffalo chicken fries....."

"Was not a good experience, there was no love and you could tell the employees hated being there. The funnel cakes were flimsy and the chicken was bland with no flavor. Good thing I checked my order before I left because they forgot my funnel cake fries as they were still sitting in the fryer."
