"Michelle was my server and did a great job. She was friendly and served us promptly. The restaurant has a fabulous breakfast. The food is home made and you can tell by the looks and taste. I have rarely been served a breakfast like this. The portions are enormous so keep this in mind when ordering. My husband and myself will definitely return"
"Parking was crowded. Easy entry and exit. Lots of decorations to view while waiting. Seating was quick. A slow start to order then drink orders were taken and delivered in a timely fashion. Food order was taken and delivered hot, fresh and delicious. Wait staff were slow on drink refills and had to ask for condiments as the container was empty on the table. Overall a pleasant experience. I will return when in the area."
"Great food. Great prices. Great staff. This was not a 5 star gourmet meal but it was a 5 star diner meal in a town that could use a little help. I wanted a Route 66 type roadside small town diner and this exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend if you are looking for the same as I was."
"Just had to stop at a place called "Steak n Cakes" off the highway just into CA. Delicious french toast & strawberries and the pancakes are fluffy, tasty, hot, and fresh. Grade A quality at this road side diner. Very happy with food and service here. Would return if back out in this direction."
