"Used to love this place. Just not the same anymore. Went there for lunch this week and got a hredded chicken burrito enchilada style. Lol, they didn't even attempt to fold it like a burrito. Just plopped it in the container. It was a sloppy mess. Service was dispassionate. The lady behind the counter clearly did not want to be there."
"Best experience I've ever had at any Cafe Rio. Visiting St George for the weekend and came here for dinner. The dude making the orders at 9pm was amazing at making every dish look impeccable!! The crew worked fast and we were sitting with our food in less than 10 minutes with such a big crowd."
"Cafe Rio has delicious Mexican food. The burritos are huge. The ingredients is very fresh. The service is great. You do have to walk through a line to order your food. The line usually moves very quick. You pick the ingredients you want and they make it right in front of you. I highly recommend giving Cafe Rio a try."
"Our family stopped in for dinner as we travelled through the area. Definitely the worst Cafe Rio that we have been to. They are understaffed as 2 people called out sick. No one seemed to be in charge and able to manage the situation. The 3 guys at the food making line did their very best and seemed very stressed out. I truly felt bad for them and 1 of them was new. The girl at the cashier was nice and friendly as well. We had a small chat and I could understand why with the chaotic situation. However, there was a girl that was in charge of the chip that they sprinkle on top of the salad and was on TikTok. The chip was burnt and served to my family. Ruined the taste and we couldn’t pick all of them out. The bathroom was a disaster. The girl at the register multi tasked and cleaned the dining area in between customers, really thankful for her. If it wasn’t for the bad foods. I would give 4 stars knowing the short staff situation but the girl on TikTok could put her phone down and help.."
"We went on a Friday night at 6:00pm. It was average busy and still took us 30 minutes to get our food. If you’re not eating in the restaurant, I would recommend calling it in ahead of time. I always get the Sweet Pork Quesadilla and it’s amazing!! They have a good selection on the menu, kid’s menu, variety of fountain drinks and additional drinks like horchata, a couple different teas (one herbal) and some other flavored drinks. There’s lots of seating and tons of free parking as it’s in a business park. Handicap accessible for both parking and restaurant. Prices are reasonable and the food is good enough to make it worth the price and wait. The fountain machine has the nugget ice that everyone loves, but the machine was out when we were there. The staff could be more friendly, but they did a good job and managed to not screw up our order. If you’ve been living under a rock and haven’t been here, you need to go!! This location is right off the I-15 freeway so it’s quick access (maybe 2 minutes drive) on and off the freeway."
