Lake Lowell Park, located at 12996 Iowa Avenue in Nampa, Idaho, is a 20-acre park situated on the east side of Lake Lowell. Owned by Canyon County Parks since 1970, the park offers a variety of amenities including picnic tables, BBQ grills, restrooms, a water fountain, a disc golf course, and a story trail. Bordering the Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge, Lake Lowell Park is a popular destination for outdoor recreation.
Built in 1909 by the Bureau of Reclamation, Lake Lowell is one of the largest off-stream reservoirs in the American west, providing irrigation water for over 200,000 acres of land in Canyon County. Visitors can enjoy boating, swimming, fishing, bird watching, hiking, and hunting in the park and surrounding wildlife refuge. Motorized and non-motorized boating is allowed seasonally, with restrictions in place to protect migrating and wintering wildlife.
The Story Trail at Lake Lowell Park, created in 2012, features a different story book displayed each month along a nature trail for visitors to enjoy. Open from dawn to dusk every day, the park offers a unique way for families to explore nature and promote the joy of reading. The park also features a Public Admin Meeting Room available for reservation by calling 208-454-7473.

"Its good on a hot day. The park itself is nice with green lawns. The water is typically nice and so are the people at the park. The park needs more parking available. The beach is OK. It has small and medium round rocks. Not the best to walk on so wear shoes. Go early if want a place to park. It gets very busy in the afternoon."

"Went here last Saturday around 3pm and it was pretty crowded. Today (friday) around 11am it was perfect! About 15 other people there, very quiet and peaceful. Water was perfect for summer weather. Very clear and clean. Some trash on the beach which is why it gets 4 stars and not 5"
