"The drive is long and the road is rough. In winter the road has packed snow that makes it slippery, would recommend 4wd. Hot springs are nice. One main pool and a small secondary pool. Both are 20 yds from the parking area so no hiking required."
"Beautiful hot spring with gorgeous views. Road here sucks big time for like 1.20 hours way to much bumps but the view is amazing and the water was fantastic! Do make sure I have shoes with u because way to many ppl bring glass and end up breaking it and no cleaning after them self unfortunately. Plz clean after ur self ppl. This one is free and natural so let’s keep it good. I did watch one lady build a new pool across the parking lot by the cold water which is pretty nice and I hope it turns out well!"
"Incredible hot spring. Maybe 2-2.5 feet deep with a waterfall on the back wall. Just left of the main road with camping spots less than 100ft away. Dog friendly and absolutely beautiful scenery!"
"Nice little hot spring and worth visit IF you are going up this road to camp and fish. It is upwards of 30 miles on the dirt road, level 1 with washboards and thins to single lane in the worst places. We did make it up there in our 29 ft class c rv and got a great boondocking spot near the hot spring. The hot spring itself is a mild temperature—not too hot. The pool has been built up to keep the water at about knee height but you can sit on the edge or on the bottom of the pool. There’s lots of poison ivy so watch out for that. Worse though were the nails in the parking lot. We did manage to get the pool to ourselves for an hour on a weekend in June after a couple tries. The pool is big enough for several people but sorta awkward if you don’t know the other people. The middle fork of the Boise has lots of boondocking and established campsites. Fishing is great. There are no services after the campground at the reservoir. No cell service but Starlink worked."
"Nice little spring with two ponds to sit in. Water in upper pond is rather warm. You really can not regulate the water so don't go when it's too warm outside. Went mid day today and was surprised as to the amount of people continually coming and going. Would be really nice for an overnight camp and soak. The drive is great as well."
