"Poorly marked but Google maps will take you there. Definitely off the beaten path not a trail taken often by most. BRING LOTS OF WATER. There is a long stretch atleast 4 miles without access to water. Lots of ups and downs. So beautiful, quiet. Backpacked in first day made it 4.5 miles in. Next day went the rest of the way to the junction to the other trail. Pockets of lots of bugs, bring head net and bug spray. Bring water filtration system. The meadows are gorgeous. Many wild flowers, butterflies and medicine plants."
