"McCALL WINTER CARNIVAL February 23rd -25th 2024 My EXPIERANCE Saturday the 24th! Photos included: see below. This Year 2024 is the first year they cramped all events onto 1 weekend instead of 2..WELL??I guess it was warmer all week before. We all came and did what we do. Mill around in crowds of people. Moms and Dads, Kids everywhere in snow suits with sleds. Old People..Young , a few Cowboys sprinkled in. relizeing...its different this year.. We ALL had the WINTER CARNIVAL SPIRIT! SEE PICS BELOW I TALKED to EVERYBODY I came in contact with and Snapped A LOT of People PICS and asked if I could post them online..Yes!! I HOPE YOU FIND THEM HERE! SEE BELOW!! waiting in LINE FOR SMOKED TURKEY LEGS...longest line ever..BUT WORTH IT! See pics below. The Snow Sculptures were No where to been seen this year! Warm Weather? Well It did not stop the many visitors descending on this Small Mountain Town for the Weekend. Plenty TO SEE & Do at Legendary Park All day. There were tubing hills, hikers out on the frozen lake, Warming tents and fire rings. There were a small number of vendors selling thier wares... THE FOOD TRUCKS!! HIP HIP HOORAY! "THE SMOKED TURKEY LEGS were the GOTTA HAVE IT! GOD Bless the TURKEY HAT SMOKER GUY! SEE PICS ATTACHED!"

"A fun and picturesque place for tourists in the north end of Idaho. There's was plenty of snow and friendly locals to direct you where to go, highly recommend if You're in the area."

"Legacy Park is such a lovely place to go to while in McCall! I especially enjoyed how it functioned more or less as the town square. These are so helpful for people to gather in versus having to hangout in and around sidewalks or establishments only. Plus it had a really great interactive sundial; which is very cool in my book! Also it looks like some people organize movie showings on the lawn for they were setting up just such a thing as I walked by. Great job City of McCall!"

"Fun spot to sit by the lake and watch the kids play in the water at the beach! They have a nice sandy area. There’s a walking path and a splash pad for the little ones. Lots of nice docks. Very peaceful!"

"Had a great time here today! Great atmosphere with lots to do and the area was very clean. We rented a tandem kayak and went out on the water for hours. Definitely recommend."
