"Aurora Lake is the small glacial cirque lake on Glacier Peak which is at the base of Glacier Peak's glacier and the headwaters of the creek which feeds the Glacier Lakes Basin, therefore the headwaters of the West Fork Wallowa River. The water is clear and turquoise blue in color. Absolutely stunning! The views from here extend up the Glacier Peak and Eagle Cap and down to the Glacier Lakes."
