Reviews of Arboretum & Botanical Garden
"Awesome place for a quick walk close to town. Is it off in the wilderness? No. Does it really feel like you are out of town? No. But is it pretty, accessible, and really easy to meet people there? Yes. 5/5 Would recommend"
"This place is absolutely gorgeous! Lots of little trails and paths to take around it. There is so much wildlife of ducks, squirrels, geese, and I have even see herons here! I love the way the garden is set up by region and the labeling of everything makes it super easy to learn what types of plants are there and where they come from. Best place to walk around in town if you don’t feel like driving further out for more woodsy hikes!"
"I could spend hours here admiring the different fowl in the ponds, the different trees and shrubs along the pathways and the plaques with info on the foliage. So peaceful, calming and enjoyable but a great walk to unwind and get away from the daily grind."
"I love it here, it's so pretty!! It's a nice walk, and I love seeing the geese and hearing the frogs. The trees and flowers are beautiful and look even better once everything has bloomed and has leafs. Daffodils are my favorite so I absolutely freaked out when I saw these adorable tiny ones."
"A lovely place for a walk, or picnic. It was very peaceful, quiet and well shaded. There are so many plants and trees to see and things to learn! Highly recommend going if you have some free time"
