"Beautiful campground, but get to bed early! The logging trucks start their day at 3:30am and rip through the main road like a bat out of hell until about 9am. I have PTSD every time I hear engine brakes now. Also, at the time of writing, the camp host was the worst camp host I’ve ever met. Don’t expect to get change, firewood, or even a tip on a good hiking spot nearby. His only response to every question was “I don’t know” or “I only clean up”. I had to ask him if he was even the camp host because he was so standoffish and appalled that I approached him. Lastly, this campground is very expensive! $64/night! I’m not sure when it became more expensive to sleep outside than it is to rent a motel."
"Gorgeous place! Clean camp spot and fire pit. Great parking, water right by our spot, and the lake is amazing! The only bad thing I can say is the toilets right by spot 126 were really stinky, I could hardly go in there for # 1, I had to hold my breath. The bathrooms by the day use beach, however, were amazing! Clean, smelling good, and more lit up inside."
"Awesome location. Amazing waterfront. You need to reserve early! Most camp sites are not too close together."
"A wonderful destination to disconnect. No cell service and views that are breath taking. A great place to go and get high, with mountains reaching over 7200ft!"
"This is the best campsite in the United States. Removed from most of the world's distractions this site sits on the the Northern tip of Priest Lake. The are plenty of things to do or you can just lay out on the beach with your favorite book and relax."
