"Came up on this place by chance back in 2016 while motorcycling out west from working in northern Michigan for the summer. A welcome and clean place to pitch a tent and get some rest. Even chatted with some friendly folks staying there at the time. Would recommend!"

"It is free! Free electric hook ups. About 10 spaces along a circle drive. Some road noise. Restrooms are available but primitive. Water available, no hook ups. A nice shelter house. On the East edge of town, right off highway"

"Free campgrounds are rare. This one is on the east end of town on a major through highway. Night lights, power, 110,30,50? At about a dozen sites on a circular road each with a concrete table. A shelter house and toilet on site"

"Great stop for a night or two while traveling to get some rest. Free electric, water, and picnic tables. They ask for a donation which is reasonable. Well maintained and quiet with some road noise and an occasional train nearby. Dump station as well."
