"I love going for a 30 min walk by afternoon.. my grandkids ride their bicycles and its fun for all of us"

"The past three times I've been at the park with our grandkids, we've found several dead animals at least two of the times. Four birds, a squirrel, and a frog. Just seemingly dropping dead out of the trees, even the frog was found at the base of a tree. We visit most of the parks through out Liberal, and I do not recall but a few birds else where over the siding abs dinner months. Curious as to the cause. Environmental or predatory? Not certain the desk attendants at Liberal Parks and Rec would take my inquiry seriously. Guess I should give them the opportunity."

"It's been years since we have been to Liberal, Kansas. What a pleasant surprise Light Park is. Looks like the kids would have a wonderful time at their Water Park during the hot summer days! We parked under a tree and visited for a while."

"Stopped by this park on a road trip. We saw there was an event with the local minor league baseball team and a showing of the movie the Sandlot on a beautiful June evening. There is a fun little playground, plenty of open grassy space for kids to run and play, and covered picnic areas. The kids spent most of the time at the little pond that was filled with tadpoles and tiny frogs. Light Park reminded us how perfect parks like this are for road trip stops!"

"The park is strictly for children! It appears to range from toddlers to maybe 12 or so? All the pathways have houses piked with holes so water cools the paths. It has tons of little things for kids to do including a pirate ship fir kids to explore! (My kiddos favorite of course) lol all in all 5 stars"
