"We took our pups out for a walk May 31st. Beautiful weather and not another person around."
"So peaceful and beautiful. Day use only. A couple of man made wading pools at the point, kiddos can play within the pools without the fear of it dropping off and getting to deep. It feels like it's in the middle of nowhere. The dogs loved the adventure, the water, and exploring. Beautiful setting for a first date or for mom and dad to get away 15 yrs after the first date. For a family fun day"

"It's a lovely, leisurely walk. I wouldn't consider it hiking, as the elevation does not change at all, but I definitely recommend walking this trail. The scenery, and wildlife is beautiful, and you'll eventually come to the lake's shore. Although I saw several fire pits, I don't think camping is allowed (that's what I heard, so I might be wrong about that). This trail is perfect for those with bad knees, limited stamina, or who have small kiddos."
