Welcome to Furry Tale Mercantile, located at 609 Main Street in Kendrick, Idaho, United States. Our little farm is situated on 20 acres in Clearwater County, Idaho, where we left the hustle and bustle of city life behind in Seattle in the summer of 2016.
At Furry Tale Mercantile, we started with a handful of chickens that have now grown to over 40, along with a herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats and two adorable Alpacas. Our farm also includes several barn cats and a little dog who enjoys herding the chickens and goats around.
We take pride in making goat milk soap and sharing other products that we offer. Our Nigerian Dwarf goats are the perfect fit for our farm - they are sweet, lovable animals that produce delicious milk with a higher butterfat content, perfect for making yogurt and cheese. We love kidding season when we get to see the adorable Nigerian babies.

"This is an adorable little locally owned shop. The people are always lovely and helpful. You can find rustic decor here and plenty of unique, hand made gifts as well as antique and vintage items, hand crafted candles, jewelry, hats, and more. They also have a great selection of local huckleberry and BlackBerry jam, chocolate, and even artisan marshmallows. Visiting the shop is always a fun experience and in the spring and summer they have plants and garden decor just outside the shop."
