"Nina was great to work with. I decided at the last minute to get my wedding dress altered a bit more, and they were able to do everything I wanted with a little over a month to work with. My dress was ready earlier than expected and fits beautifully. I cannot wait to wear it."
"My dog ripped into my favorite stuffed animal and removed the eye ball. Leaving a big tear around the eye. They took her in and fixed it. She's good as new. They were easy to work with and pricing was great! Thank you!"
"Ahhh they did a fantastic job altering my dresses so that it would fit my super petite body. The staff were very nice and attentive to my needs. Very accessible and reasonable. It Thank you. Will definitely come back."
"If you choose to take your garments here to be dry cleaned, do so knowing that they take no responsibility for any damage that may be caused. I’ll admit I felt a bit cautious when I entered their store and saw this sign posted on the register, but I left my garment anyway. While they were successful in removing the 2-day old grease stains from my granddaughter’s dress, they returned it with no mention of the tear hidden between the pleats. When my husband picked up the dress, he was told they were able to get out most of the stains and that one would have to be looking for them to see them. Upon inspection, I failed to see any signs of the prior stains. But what I did see was a tear in the fabric as I separated the pleats. I immediately called the store and was told they had inspected the dress prior to cleaning it and noted that the tear was already there. I was quite certain it was not, so when Jennifer stated they had taken pictures of the damage prior to cleaning it, I asked if they were time stamped and whether they could be sent to me. She was unsure and stated she would have the manager call me back. Having not heard back for a couple of days, I called again. I was then told the manager was away on holiday and would return the following Monday. As promised, Robert called the following Monday. He too stated that the dress had been inspected prior to being cleaned and that the tear had been noted, approximately 1 hour after it had been dropped off. However, they did NOT have photos as I was told on my first call. I informed Robert that I was certain the tear was not there previously, as the woman at the register had laid the garment on the counter and inspected the stains, separating the pleats, when I brought the dress in, and neither she nor I observed a tear. I had also inspected the stains before bringing the dress in and saw no tear. And while no tear was noted upon either of these inspections, it was immediately apparent upon inspection AFTER the dress was cleaned. I also asked Robert, “would you not call and notify the customer of a tear found on inspection?”. And “being an alteration specialist as well as a dry cleaner, would you not ask the customer if they would also like the tear to be repaired?”. Robert repeatedly stated that if a customer brings in a garment to be cleaned, they clean it. And if a customer brings in a garment for repair, they repair it. They never do more than the customer asks. It seems to me that it would be a liability to clean a garment that already had a tear. But apparently the posted sign relieves the company of any liability they might otherwise have. I know I personally wouldn’t have paid $40 to have a dress cleaned that already had a tear. Had I known of a tear, I would have had it repaired PRIOR to having it cleaned. While the manager could have restored my faith in the company by accepting the fact that they MAY have caused the damage and offered a complimentary repair (or even a generous discount), that was not offered. He instead stated, “there is nothing I can do for you.” When I informed Robert that my review would be a poor one, he simply stated, “that is your right.” So here I am exercising my right."
"I took my wedding dress and 2 brides maids dresses here to be altered. My dress is very unique, more like a very high end beaded prom dress because we had an African safari themed wedding. I was afraid to let anyone alter the dress, but had no choice. Nina accepted the job, and everything was done right. But by the time it was ready I had lost weight and the dress was too big! I was in a panic as my wedding was the following week. Not only did they get the dress finished on time for the second time, they were able to get it altered enough where I could still wear it,despite the beading. Although it was slightly large in the bust, that was not at all their fault. They did an exceptional job!! Also both bridesmaids dresses were perfect as well. Thank you Nina, and to all your staff for helping make my dream wedding a reality."
