"I would give 0 stars if I could. CLA IS THE WORST AND MOST DISHONEST COMPANY I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH. STAY AWAY IF YOU DON'T WANT TO PAY AND PAY AND PAY. They did my payroll for years and suddenly they assigned new people to my account. I am a small business and my payroll isn't complicated, but they wanted me to sign an agreement and pay an undisclosed amount that could change at anytime without notice based on the experience of the accountant processing my payroll and tax forms. I understand the whole, who ever works your account based on their experience rate, but not being complicated your most experienced accountant doesn't need to do my payroll. When they set up my company's tax accounts they DIDN'T set up MY access to them and then charged me when I asked for access to them. When I moved over to another company for payroll they charged me to get the information they should have provided me legally in the first place."

"Small businesses? STAY AWAY! We had our payroll through CLA for YEARS until our point person left. We started out at a very reasonable rate, and by the time we left, our rate for FOUR employees was astronomical! (in my experienced opinion). AND they require you to sign a multi-year contract with no price transparency. Not a great way to be treated after all these years. Very disappointing."
