"It is so bad I would give it a zero. But that’s not possible so I gave it a one. I went to school there from preschool to seventh grade and finally transferred at 8th because I was getting bullied and they didn’t do anything about it. I was even bullied by one of the sisters in 5th grade. The mass is beautiful and I enjoy attending mass there but don’t send your kids there. Super toxic environment. Super disrespectful there. Very careless teachers too"
"I spent around a month in Spokane this summer. I attended the Latin Mass and learned the incredibly interesting history of this beautiful historic landmark. There are many nuns in the traditional habits and students of the school. It is a living breathing community. The history is tangible. It's basically a 100 year old castle. I cannot recommend it enough. The tour guide was amazing! She could tell you anything and everything! If you go ask about the holy souls!"
"It's amazing when you find a church that still holds on to all of Christ's teachings. Usually you find it in small towns of the mid-west in poor chapels with visiting priests, but Mount Saint Michael's is no small church! This place is huge!! It has more classrooms than I can count, a massive library, and a gorgeous chapel with statues and paintings that make you feel like you're in Italy. The best part is, the Traditional Roman Catholic Latin Mass is celebrated here and the long-time pastor is a very gentle and knowledgeable priest."
"My family and I were just out for a weekend drive and I headed up this way. As a life long resident of Spokane all I heard were rumors and innuendo about this place. What a magnificent treasure it is. We had an amazing tour from Sister Michael Mary. The grounds are gorgeous and historical, the school itself is a treat. My family and I were very impressed by their hospitality and openness to visitors."
"My husband & I visited Mount Saint Michaels today. We spoke with Reverend Mother Mary Agnes before visiting the chapel and grotto. The stories the stains glass tell, the images of Jesus pointing to his sacred heart, of Mother Mary arms welcoming, and so much more, I am in deep reverence for this space. The walk into the grotto with Mary's rose garden at the top, spring flowers of vinca, grape hyacinth, roses, and more. The incredible collection of trees is an arborists dream, and somewhere out of view came the scent of lilacs first blooms. We learned of the history in the first floor of mount Saint Michaels Academy. Interesting connection with Manresa Castle, or hall, in Port Townsend, Washington. Mount Saint Michaels is open to the public, after checking in at room 116 of the Academy. Many blessings to you!"
