"I was feeling good about having my taxes done and getting information that I thought would help me. However, when we came back, it turned out to not be worthwhile. The direct withdrawal payments, set up by the preparer failed! I ended up writing checks and mailing them. I was led to believe my tax preparer had incorrectly completed the form. I was then refunded by the IRS, which leads me to believe my preparer made some kind of mistake within the taxes as well. I called and told the lady that answered the phone at Hewitt Jackson that I wanted to file a complaint and explained my issues. I never heard back from anyone. This was before I received a refund from the IRS of an overpayment. Now I’m thinking, I need to try to review my state taxes especially to see if something else went wrong!"
