"My tax preparer is great. However they should thoroughly train all agents on tax identity and use of it for problem questions. My problem wi H&R Block website does not have a link to tax identity shield so it is and offers no on line support."

"DO NOT LET IRMA DO YOUR TAXES! Extremely unprofessional and got very rude with me because In her own words “brought in to many tax forms and was to much work for her” and that’s not even the worst part, I went here in 2021 to do my 2020 taxes and I had 1099 tax forms from my side security jobs and she got an attitude because those forms require extra work which isn’t my fault. Anyways I owed the IRS 3,000 when I’ve never owed anything my whole life and have always gotten money back, so I did my taxes somewhere else this year and just like I mentioned I owed absolutely not a dime to the IRS and I made the exact same amount as the previous year so I had my new tax lady review her work and my tax lady from this year told me she did the 1099 completely wrong and I should have owed $0! And I should’ve gotten back money! So now my current tax lady is in the process of amending those tax forms and I’m having to pay $150 to get those sent to the IRS for review but hey at least I’ll get my $3,000 back. Absolutely ridiculous. She should be fired for having no absolute clue what she is doing and for being so unprofessional. So thankful for my new tax lady that’s taking the time to correct HER MISTAKES. If you go here just make sure your tax lady is not Irma."

"The manager Kendra, literally laughed at me on the phone when I was expressing my concern about where my tax money was and why I haven't got my stimulus on the emerald card that was pushed on me. When I told Kendra that I wanted to speak to corporate about her laughing at me she said that was fine. After 12 years I am pulling my business. I have never wrote a negative review or been treated so poorly by "professionals". Guess H&R Block does not have your back."

"I was *extremely* unimpressed with the service I received from my "tax specialist." The Office Manager, Erma, was wonderful and helped my specialist out, but Sonya was slow, didn't address my concerns, did not lead with any sort of introduction or explanation, and didn't ever directly answer any of my questions. She was uncertain about most of her actions and it was difficult for me to place my confidence and trust in her with regards to so much sensitive information. My tax return was simple, but multi-state, so I wanted someone else to review it for me rather than foregoing it on my own, but next year I will save time, money, and frustration by preparing my own tax return."
