"Buyer beware. I made it clear that my iPhone 12 was having charging issues and did not want to replace my cracked screen without first ensuring that my phone would take a charge. In broken English the operator of this shop reassured me that he wouldn't replace the screen if my phone wasn't holding a charge. He tinkered with the charging port and I could see that my phone was charging again so authorized the screen replacement. Two take aways: 1) Cellaxs cannot replace charging ports on iPhone 12s. The parts are serialized to the the mother board (Thanks Apple) 2) Replacement screens are also serialized to the motherboard and unfortunately Cellax doesn't have Apple certified replacements. If you want a cheap quick replacement this is your guy but you will lose functionality. In my case face recognition is now disabled on my phone. That applies to unlocking my phone and other apps that I'd set up for face recognition. I got what I paid for. As of yet I haven't noticed any other loss of functionality but I'm nervous."
"This place repaired my very broken screen for $100, which is a bit pricey but not when you compare to what other places in the area charge. The owner was friendly and even gave me a free screen protector along with the repair. Overall a good experience, but they do only repair iPhones so if you have any other type of phone this isn’t the place for you!"
