"It took awhile to go through the disability process but Parmele Law Firm has helped me every step of the way. We are now wrapping up my case in which we were successful in proving my disability. I would definitely recommend their law firm if you are needing help with your disability case."
"We hired Parmele law to help with my husband SSDI. They didn't even have The courtesy to call and let us know what the decision was.. They didn't send not even one piece of paper in to help with our case. They never pulled 1 piece of medical records on his behalf. I know this because after 4 months of not hearing from them. I contacted disability determination on my husband behalf and they informed me, that nothing was sent in on his case. With in 1 week I fax all his medical records to the lady evaluating his case. Because he was going to be denied, records that I personally paid to get. And they still insisted on being paid. To this day they never called with his decision but ask him to leave a review.I WOULD NOT HIRE THIS FIRM EVER AGAIN! They took a fee and did absolutely nothing to earn said fee. WE WOULD NEVER HIRE THIS FIRM AGAIN!!"
"When I first called Parmele, I did the intake process with a woman who called herself Connor (I am not sure if that is spelt right) & another woman named Josie. They were both kind. Josie tried to transfer me over to one of the attorneys, who were too busy at the time. Josie said she would call me back in about 20 minutes or so. Hours pass, no call. I waited two days, no call back. I made the mistake of calling Parmele again for an update. This time, I wasn't greeted by a kind person, I was greeted by a cruel & cold condescending woman by the name of Brittany, whom should NOT be allowed to talk to individuals who are disabled as she is lacking empathy, compassion, emotional maturity & authenticity to such a severity that she is honestly dangerous to mentally disabled individuals who may be prone to emotional dysregulation, suicidal ideation or tendencies. Brittany INITIALLY was kind in her interactions, until she looked up my case. That's when she apologized that I had not been informed, but they decided to reject my case, according to her, they wanted me to be actively in physical therapy, actively getting treatment for all the things I am still in the process of getting diagnosed, basically they denied my case because I didn't have access to the care that I NEED DISABILITY to have access to. I asked her questions that she wasn't qualified to answer as a receptionist, I was confused (AuDHD, Executive Dysfunction) & trying to understand why this happened. She repeated that I would get a letter in the mail regarding their decision. When I told her that I spoke to Conner, she said that nobody even works there with that name, basically indirectly implying that I was being dishonest. As we spoke, she progressively got more upset with me, talking over me every time I tried to talk or ask another question, including if it was possible for me to speak to an actual attorney. I was triggered due to the severe emotional and verbal abuse I have gone through since childhood (CPTSD is one of my disabilities) from her aggressive communication, & because of my AuDHD, I felt over-stimulated & silenced. I started to match her behavior, & I talked over her like she had been doing to me, & then when she told me that I wasn't listening to her because I was just mad & wanted to argue, I talked a bit louder to try and get through to her & at this point, I'd been begging her give me access to a supervisor. That's when she claimed that I was yelling, & talking over her, projecting her own behavior onto me. I apologized & expressed that I felt she was doing that to me. I clarified that I didn't yell but did raise my voice a bit accidentally which is likely my AuDHD, and apologized for that too. After I apologized, I again asked if there was anyone I could talk to, she angrily said she would try to transfer me to her supervisor (why did she refuse before/act like it wasn't possible?) & I was put on hold for a few minutes before she returned to tell me her supervisor was busy, & that she'd have them call me. By the time she returned, I was in tears. I once again apologized (I now realize was a reaction to her abuse) & thanked her, then she hung up. I cried for about 3 hours afterwards, & was terrified to reach out to any other law offices after the experience. It has been four days, & nobody has reached out. I have heard various horror stories about Parmele, & I am thankful they didn't take my case, both because if the receptionist is allowed to be so cruel & condescending, it's terrifying to imagine how much worse it gets the higher up/behind closed doors, & because they are known to drop people mid-case, especially if it takes longer than they prefer. Most importantly, I found a law office who actually cares about their clients, not just case-potential, who each person I have spoken to thus far has treated me with such kindness I cried because it was the opposite of Parmele, & they accepted my case within the same day I talked to Brittany after I built up the courage to call them."
"I want to thank Parmele law for working so hard to get me my Social Security disability benefits. When I had questions, all I had to do is call. My lawyers answered all my questions. They kept my up to date with all the things going on with my case. I am very thankful for Parmele Law firm for their support and hard work. Thank you so much."
