"Any company that sends perishable meat by GROUND shipping clearly has issues. Don’t buy from this company. I am out nearly $600 dollars because of how they ship - UPS GROUND. Yep, that’s right, ground shipping for frozen meat. First UPS lost the shipment, American Ostrich Farms would only help my by giving a 10 percent discount (seriously?! Help me get a refund from UPS!) on my next (necessarily) $250+ shipment. So I ordered again. After waiting all day to sign for my package, since the company apparently put a signature requirement on my address after the initial package was lost, and the delivery first getting delayed from the morning to 9pm, I just checked the tracking and the package says delayed. After talking to UPS for a half hour it appears they do not deliver to my neighborhood after 5:30pm?? This would be good to know. Now my only option is to try to figure out how to go and pick the package up for myself."

"I've been enjoying the local ostrich products from American Ostrich Farms for a couple of years now. Whether it's the ground meat I make into burgers, the steaks that we just had on our pasta, the oil for our dogs noses or the treats for our dogs, it's all delicious, healthy and local. The price is excellent for the product produced and knowing the source of your food is always a plus."
