"Dr. Manson is one of the most proficient Orthopedic specialists I've ever worked with. However, his nurses and front desk staff are not only inconsiderate; they are also extremely unprofessional. I will NOT be returning for any future Orthopedic needs due to the poor treatment from office staff."

"I had an excellent experience with Dr. Manson. He was easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and efficient. The pleasantly inefficient staff that support Dr. Manson need to be better connected. I was almost denied my FMLA due to their exuberant inefficiencies in getting my paper work in on time. Actually the FMLA company extended the 15 day deadline once. My treatment plan was also effected by not actually getting referrals sent through. Honestly I haven't had this poor of experience ever. If you have all the time and patience to continuously follow up, this will be a fine place to get your medical needs met. Update: Dr. Manson continues to be professional and courteous and work with you to develop a plan of care."

"I thought Dr. Manson was thorough, asked pertinent questions, examined my knee turning my leg in several positions. His treatment recommem dations were appropriate and he looked and talked to me rather than typing on the PC and not making eye contact with me. When he finished the exam, he talked about his treatment and asked if I had any questions and he left the room to finish up his paperwork, referrals and review my with his assistant. I would recommend Dr. Manson to anyone looking for a complete, thorough exam with an old fashioned friendly, knowledgeable physician."

"Dr Manson was nice. He was very short but to the point which I can appreciate. However, the office staff was very rude. And the referral process needs some work. They did an “emergent” type of referral for an MRI on a Wednesday it was cleared the next day, however no one called me to schedule my MRI. I called late the following Monday afternoon (around 3/4) and when the receptionist said I need to wait for a call I then asked for the phone number so I could just call, she snarkily replied “I guess”. I found it to be very rude. Then when I needed my PT referral moved outside of Rockwood the gal returning my call I believe her name is Jill she was very rude because my phone cut out and she couldn’t hear the last two digits of my phone number; apparently it was a huge inconvenience for her, as if phone numbers are the only way to identify a patient. Not the other identifiers I left such as first and last name, DOB and my dr. I work in a medical setting, and feel like this Rockwood office would benefit from a class on customer service."

He took the time to explain to me what procedures were going to be performed on me on that visit and why... he also explained in detail how long the projected recovery time would take and what his goals were for my leg. His staff was friendly and very helpful. I would recommend Dr Manson anytime. Thank you."
