"I have been working with the instructor since July. I had some previous Martial Arts experience in Thai Kickboxing and always wanted to learn Kali, but never had anyone actually teach, then I met Steve. I am a huge fan of instructors that take their time and tune their lessons to you and your learning style, he does. The first month was spent learning about each other whilst learning the art, he Knew that I had some physical limitations and spent the time adjusting and training me in a way that was easy and comfortable. Fast forward to today and my hand-eye coordination is so much better, my reaction time has improved and I feel confident in my abilities once again. Speaking about Steve as a person, I can say he is a kind hearted, caring individual that has an abundance of patience. If you are looking to get into a Martial Arts style that does not force feed you "This is how it has to be done" I would strongly recommend Kali. It is a fluid system that teaches you to adapt and improvise while improving your Dexterity, I love the philosophy that we cannot always carry guns every where we go, but there is always a stick lying around some where!"
