"My son was seen by this woman for potential counseling and reconciliation with my ex-husband. My ex husband was abusing my son and we had to go to CPS three times before the courts finally did something about it. This was years ago and I never reported it but now I am experiencing similar experiences years later with her business partner, Nekane. On the first or second counseling session with my son she bought my son a gift and then in the counseling with my ex-husband sitting there, told my son that his abuse was a dream that he had, and it didn’t really happen, and that he should apologize to my ex-husband for all of the trauma he has putting him through by accusing him of abusing him. My son was eight years old and came out of that counseling session, sobbing and angry and so upset and we never went back to see her again and the detective told me they would file a formal complaint, and I am just realizing that never happened. I do not want anyone else to be in this awful situation."

"Ms. Ritter is more destructive than words can fully express, and I am thankful my words did not fall on deaf ears at the Idaho Board of Professional licensure whom I encourage people to report Ms. Ritter to as she represents a public health crisis in Idaho and I am told is pending disciplinary action. As a Boise High Valedictorian with four congressional recommendations and acceptances to the US Naval Academy and West Point, I wasn't confused or brainwashed, and Ms. Ritter's attempted gaslighting, manipulation and lying did not work on me. She uses her contacts, which include the courts and public servants to effect custody outcomes in favor of the abusive parents who pay her bills. She attacks the only love and support some children like me have in our other parent and depletes the community resources to butter her bread and that of the custody cottage industry. The good news is that we grow up, age out, and become adults, and we can leave reviews to warn others and encourage those afflicted to file complaints with the Idaho Board of Professional Licensure. Ms. Ritter, please do not bother with one of your patronizing replies and get the help you so desperately need."

"I was ordered 3 sessions with my son by the court to go see Jennifer Ritter. I didn’t know what to expect. In the beginning she told me that my son most definitely was being manipulated and that she could tell that he was following directions and was being told what to do. She started talking about herself and her childhood growing up in a broken home her parents divorced when she was 7 moved to another state and her relationship with her mother affected her because they didn’t talk for years etc it was overwhelming I left the office thinking that this woman is traumatized she shouldn’t be giving out advises and opinions because she need help herself you can tell she hasn’t heal at all. She talked more about her life than my problem. She made me feel that everything will be ok but what she said to me and what she later sent to the court was definitely different. I don’t think she is qualify to do what she does. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS PERSON! She preferred to send my son with his narcissist father Terrible experience!"

"Jennifer should not be working for the court she very deeply traumatized her self from her child hood and at least should not be making decisions in other life. In are appointment with her she talk more of all her trauma like when her parents got divorced and how her mom got full custody never saw her dad because he move to Hawaii. As a teen had a bad relationship with her mom. In my case she made me look like I was the bad apple even do my x had Domestic Violence in he's record and was in probation for 2 years. She was definitely not biased in are case. DO NOT CHOOSE HER TO MAKE DECISIONS IN YOUR CASE FOR COURT."

"I have been seeing Jennifer since 2012. Overall she is absolutely outstanding. I was referred by my Family Doctor to see her during a very hard time in my life and I’m so glad that he suggested I go see her and that I did. I look forward to our appointments as I always felt better after talking to her. I still see Jennifer at least twice a year for what I call “Mental Tune Ups”. When I do go see her, she is always honest and open with me and I feel that she gives me solid advice and sometimes calls me out and helps me see things from another point of view, which is good we all need that from time to time. Jennifer is great, if you are looking for a professional to talk about your life I would definitely consider Jennifer, you won’t be disappointed, and probably feel somewhat better after talking with her."
