"Despite my wife testing positive for strep I had to talk the doctor into testing my older daughter for strep. She talked me out of testing my younger daughter, saying that strep doesn't typically effect children under 3. My older daughter's test came back positive but the doctor still recommended we take no action for my younger daughter. Days later my 2 year old's symptoms progressed and she also tested positive for strep.I'm glad I pushed to test my 4 yo and wish I had pushed for her to test my 2 yo as well. Im very frustrated about the way the appointment went"
"We walked into a pretty busy urgent care and were prepared to wait 45 mins to an hour before being seen. Then someone came to let us know one of the pediatricians (Dr. Anja) had an opening and could get my son in sooner. We were grateful. And the Dr. was very sweet, caring, and engaging of my raucous, yet under the weather 6 year old."
