About the Business
Team Hammer Academy is a leadership and youth wrestling club located in Kansas City, Missouri. As the 2x defending A State Champions, we pride ourselves on building great leaders who appreciate hard work, competition, and adversity. Our philosophy focuses on creating a supportive family-like environment for our wrestlers, preparing them for the challenges they will face in the future.
Our coaches, many of whom are high school teachers or military instructors, utilize modern teaching techniques to empower our wrestlers with positive support, goal setting, and high standards. We believe in the 1% rule, where improvement in every practice and tournament is considered a success. While we have produced champions in various tournaments, our main focus is on continuous improvement and developing long-term healthy habits.
We welcome newcomers to try out our club and experience the fun and learning that comes with it. Drop-ins are easy, and we offer scholarships, payment plans, and sibling discounts for those in need.
