Reviews of Legacy High School
"The administration is not geared toward helping students, just making sure the school runs. Some teachers are great, but the math program is pass/fail only. When more than half the students are failing the same class, no one was willing to look at the teachers. It is a safe environment, but they can't figure out how to schedule a lunch hour- students are expected to eat during their off hour. 8 class periods are offered during the day, but students are not allowed to actually take that many. It's an odd setup. They have a great band program so I recommend this school for band kids, but my youngest will not be going here."
"After attending this school, i realized that for a high school, there are as many opportunities as a a student could ask for. Parking is getting out of hand, but the institution is a very high achieving school."
"I went to this school for 2 years and wouldnt recommend it there are alot of drugs at this school. And the sports directors put in people they like or whos parents donate the most money."
"This school has been the worst experience of my life. The ignorant and arrogant students mixed in with every drug you can think of, alcohol, and lazy teachers makes my high school experience a living hell. I know I shouldn't say that, but it is true. Teachers don't care, they hand out packets (I mean every teacher) and have you work on it for weeks without them ever saying a word other than "Start working" to their students. The students here are either high or drunk, sometimes both. They only screw around in class, actually smoke hookah pens in the class room, and play on their phones. You can smell pot anywhere in the school, plus you can find cigarette stubs and chew on the floor of the school. The janitors at the school are non-existent. In the beginning of the year, a kid threw a doughnut at a window on the first floor. The stain is still their now, hardened and gross. The librarians try their best to make kids hate the library. When a kid does homework, he is told to move off the computer and another kid takes over to start playing games. Its stupid. Teachers don't even allow kids to fail now, they won't give them below a 34% and then somehow the teacher will spike their grade to a 60% just so it doesn't look bad against the school. Any kid who isn't rich or athletic is shunned by every member of faculty and teachers, they are left in the dust to rot. The school even tries to express powers they don't have. If you step on the grass, you are chased off by golf cart riding senior citizens, who don't do anything other than that. If you complain, you are silenced by the deans with haste, the school thinks its perfect. It s almost like a totalitarian government, money to those in power, screw the citizens. The students that care receive text books that are 20 years old at the newest, and the sports teams get new and expensive gear every year. Some kids hate high school, but I simply hate this school. I was actually afraid to post this at fear that I will be written up or worse. The school actually monitors this stuff. I may be afraid, but I am so sick of this school I decided the world need to know the truth, DON'T COME TO LEGACY HIGH SCHOOL!"
"This school makes me want to .... wel I can't say because they monitor everything. The bratty and snot nosed kids are inpolite and cruel. Even saying this stuff can get me in trouble because the school abuses their power. The teachers don't care whatsoever and are lazy. The grading system is unfair, leaving kids crawing in the dust behind everyone else. Litteraly 90% of the kids at this school are on Marajuana at least! Empty beer bottles and cigarrette packs can be found lying around the school. Look into one kid's eyes and you'll see he's higher than a kite. The school will probably suspend me for this because they try to use powers they don't have. The campus "security" rides around in a golf cart threatening students for doing nothing wrong. This school is a joke with computers from the mid 80s and textbooks from World War 2. Seriously, shut down this school, please. I wish I could give this school a 0, but sadly, I cannot and even if I did, I would get expelled."
