"FedEx on the south hill is egregiously terrible. Routinely ignores shipping instructions such as requiring a signature or to deliver to a certain part of an address. Never rings the doorbell or otherwise notifies people a package has been delivered. Instead leaves the package outside in plain view for hours until you happen to realize it was delivered, which is borderline incompetent in a high property crime city. Mis-Delivered a $600 package and they even knew where they mis-delivered it because they took a picture. But took no action for over 24 hours after I marked it missing (I marked it missing within an hour of the alleged delivery time assuming they would immediately go back and retrieve it. NOPE. ). They also refused to show me the picture where they mis-delivered it or describe the porch where they left it because they "didn't want me to confront my neighbor", while simultaneously telling me to go around and aimlessly ask all my neighbors if they had my package (WHAT?). Took zero responsibility for confirmed mis-delivering a $600 item only telling me I had to have the original shipper file a lost package request, if the shipper is even willing to do it, and even then probably wouldn't reimburse much because the shipper didn't pay insurance for FedEx not to lose the package. Through no help of FedEx it was returned to me 5 days later from someone who did not appear to be one of my neighbors. This location also won't print shipping labels for you and you can't email them the shipping label, even though UPS has easily done this for what, 5+ years now? FedEx is without question the WORST mail delivery service in the area. Avoid them at all costs. Update: FedEx appears to have lost another expensive package in transit. My tracking now just says "Your package is still on the way, but a delivery date is unavailable right now" despite no shipping updates since leaving the original shipping location 6 days ago. When attempting to call FedEx, the automated voice system just says it can't help me, won't connect me to a representative, and literally hangs up on me no matter what I try and do to talk to someone. FedEx is without question the WORST shipping service imaginable at every level of their organization."
