Reviews of United States Postal Service
"I live off Vay Rd and the mail carrier left our large package under a row of mailboxes instead of returning it back to the mail office and telling us to pick it up as it wouldn't fit in the parcel box. ANYONE!!!! could have taken it!!!!. I've already had 1 package stolen. I can't get a human on the phone to save my life. Then the carrier delivered my letter mail to the wrong mail box! Horrible horrible service"
"I wouldn’t trust these people to deliver used toilet paper to a trash can. If it takes them getting out of their vehicle to deliver a package good luck they will say they couldn’t deliver it, or here’s another good one they will say couldn’t deliver because of weather that’s their other go to for them being the laziest post office employees on the face of the planet. Any where else in the country they would lose their job. Also good luck calling them guess they haven’t figured out how to pick up a phone or set up their voice mail but again it doesn’t surprise me with the lack of brain cells this building captures in its walls."
"3 Stars are combined overall between office and rural driver. If it weren’t for the Vay Rd. RR carrier poor performance I would give more stars. The office in PR has always been good, been using for over 20 years. Unfortunately the rural route carriers services have been hit and miss. Over the last year or so there have been miss delivered and completely forget mail pickup, it could rot in your mailbox with the pickup flag up. I should really have known better and am furious with myself trusting that this rural driver would pickup the title transfer I placed in the mailbox this last Tuesday, there are only five days to submit a title transfer liability release form to the DMV after a vehicle is sold …so it’s very important. My wife held up the outgoing mail to me this morning to show me it hadn’t been picked up…yet again. I can’t express enough the frustration and disappointment in this. We will drop it off at the Athol office as we drive by there this morning. Something I’ve noticed is I haven’t seen any response to any reviews on here so I doubt the local or Fed USPS look or care, but hopefully at least others will see and be aware. It’s interesting though since it effects overall public sentiment and perception towards USPS, so when there are calls to privatize USPS a disenfranchised customer base might not be on their side."
"Lady at the post office listened to my concern and took my number to give to the route driver to advise me where to put my new mail box. Also gave me the mail they were holding."
"Bad customer service! My daughter had a package out for delivery on Wednesday and it was not delivered. It was then marked "Held at Post Office, At Customer Request" which she did not request. We tried calling Thursday morning several times but no one answered. The package was still marked as holding so my daughter drove 20 minutes to the PO to pick it up only to have the lady say it was out for delivery and she should have just waited. She made my daughter feel very belittled and didn't seem to care a bit. It doesn't matter if you are the only one in the office you should still have some manners and apologize for your error and not blame it on the customer."
