"rudy is a joke! he represented my ex husband in out custody modification case. i am leaving this review because he made my ex sign a non disclosure, but not me (; he was a rude asswhole to me, and my ex. he had no idea what he was doing when it came to custody. he lied and claimed he served me papers but never did. and i had proof to back it up (my time sheets as well as video from the day he claimed to have served me at work) he then proceeded to call me and threaten to file sanctions on me because i had not been sending him my responses instead i was sending them to my ex BECAUSE I HAD NO IDEA MY EX HAD GOTTEN A LAWYER AS I WAS NEVER SERVED. then me and my ex were in speaking terms (always have been for the most part) and came to an agreement of 50/50 split custody LITERALLY 50/50. and he refused to sign off and pushed that we continue to go to court. at this time i was in the hospital so i had to voluntarily sign myself out so i could make it to court on time since he refused to sign the agreement. he told me ex and his wife not to speak to me at all, which was impossible we have two kids together and had a existing custody agreement and he was active in his kids lives. i had filed my responses, and all my required forms, but he never filed the required documents on my exs behalf and actually told him to just have his response ready for court (for anyone who doesn't know thats not how it works you have to formally submit your responses and he refused to) his initial petition in my exs behalf was a joke also, it was a very bland statement saying my ex wanted 50/50 custody thats it, nothing specific at all. then he told my ex not to come to court. we go to court and the judge even asked him how things could be more 50/50 and he basically dismissed the judge and just told her “there are things we still need to discuss” (no he wanted more money) i even told the judge my ex agreed to the 50/50 agreement i set fourth and rudy refused to sign off after that we went into a conference room to discuss some of the stuff in my counter petition/response. when my ex tried to respond to me he literally put his hand in his face and told him not to talk and told me i could talk to him not my ex... continued to call me stupid, and raise his voice at me and told me asking to rotate who had the kids for their first day of school was childish and unnecessary, he also tried to take out everything i had asked for in my petition (i was very specific) anytime my ex said he was ok with something rudy would shush me as quickly as possible, he did not like that we were co parenting and getting along, he wanted a full blown court battle. he was not only rude to me but also to my exs wife. after this court hearing my ex then tried to fire rudy, told him he wanted him to leave the case he no longer wanted him representing him, he refused and responded with “i can do that but come in and let’s discuss this” he told him there was nothing to discuss, my ex and his wife went in and he finally signed the stipulation so we could file it and have it behind us, and then made them sign non disclosures because i KNOW he didn’t want any of this getting out, and he only signed because he didn’t want to be fired from the case. this man should not be allowed to practice law, he is rude and manipulative. will do anything to get more money even if it means hurting you in the process, he does not care about the outcome just that hes being paid, he knew my exs grandma had money and thats who was paying the fees."
