"AMAZING staff! From the receptionist to the doctor. I was able to get an appointment within a week of my referral, and they got me in a few mins early for the actual appointment. They we efficient, yet I didn't feel rushed. Great experience all around."
"Dr Wyrick and all of his staff are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I have been a healthcare provider for three decades and know great when I see it. Ultimately over a long period of time they were able to identify my Dads problem and get him the surgical/device intervention he needed. However......”over a long period of time” was a significant problem for my Dad. The new computer system that Rockwood (multicare) implemented, quite poorly I might add, was the cause of the LONG waits for testing and more testing. I want to emphasize that the doctor and his staff have no control over the medical record system. It is implemented and forced upon them and they have no way around it. Ultimately the meds were not updated two times and I watched the staff enter them personally. It finally worked on the third visit. The testing ordered by the doctor through the electronic medical record was not ordered and when some of them finally were, others were not. We arrived at two appts for “answers” only to meet a humble and gracious doctor who took the blame for delays that were obviously a problem within the electronic medical record system itself “it wasn’t ordered”. But I watched doctor Wyrick put the orders in months before into the computer. Finally all testing got done and he was then referred rather emergently to the right person and at that point three months after his initial cardiac arrest he was told he couldn’t drive now due to the results of the test until he had his pace maker placed which was also done rather emergently due to the results of the testing.......Now four weeks later after first calling Dr Wyrick office to try to get a referral for cardiac rehab now that his pace maker is placed, I am told that is finally going to happen. My Dad needs rehab after not being able to move for three months due to fear of another arrest until he got his pace maker placed. He has deteriorated significantly physically due to the delays. The referral for cardiac rehab??? Twice I was told that my voicemail left on a very specific individuals phone was not received. Another major system problem which has caused weeks of delay in getting the rehab and support he needs to get back on his feet. Ultimately my feedback is to Multicare. You can hire the greatest most genius medical personnel in the world. But when you stick them in a broken and lacking system you prevent them from working the miracles they are capable of. My Dad has unecessary suffering as a result of Multicare systems despite having great doctors and nurses. If you need quick and responsive assistance for a new cardiac condition, do not go to multicare. If you are a chronic cardiac patient who needs amazing doctors and nurses and don’t need quick intervention then I would highly recommend Dr Wyrick and his staff."
"I am very pleased with Dr. Joel Galloway and his assistant Amanda, however, Dr. Galloway's support staff leaves much to be desired. Dr. Galloway is very knowledgeable and straight forward. His scheduler, Kristi, does not return phone calls and does not do follow up scheduling in any form of a timely manner. It took literally weeks to get her to return a call for an echo cardiogram and heart monitor that was ordered. I was told that I would receive a call for an appointment to review the results with Dr. Galloway in approximately 2 weeks when they got the results. 4 MONTHS later, I finally get a return call from Kristi for an appointment that she stated was at Dr. Galloway's request. I drove 2 1/2 hours for that appointment and neither of us knew even why I was there. Due to the lack of scheduling, Cheryl had called me with the results of the test a week prior to Kristi calling to schedule the "Dr requested appointment"."
"By far the worst experience I've ever had with a provider. Dr. Mueller did not listen, did not provide care, but charged for visit. I put in a complaint with office manager and chief of medicine in clinic and based on the doctor's notes the chief felt he did what he needed. Based off Dr. Mueller's notes, no communication with me directly, no questions. Last time I checked people do not write in chart notes that they did not give adequate care. Come on Rockwood hold your doctors accountable."
"The one star is for Deaconess Hospital. The care was second rate at best. The nursing staff Washington making excessive noise around midnight with what sounded like a construction project. They were obviously enjoying it as there was much laughter too. I felt humiliated because one charge nurse would not let me close a restroom door enough so that I could have a minimal amount of privacy. Kudos do go to Nurse Lisa who was professional and respectful in all ways. Dr. Melich,my chiropractor, was the most caring person in the system. Dr. Jasman, my GP, was excellent! I can say so many good things about her. Dr. Heller, my neurosurgeon, was the finest specialist I have ever had the experience of being with. His communication and surgical skills were better than outstanding. I cannot give him as many superlatives as he deserves. Other than the three doctors, you would be well advised to find another place to go for care."
