Reviews
"Dr Patel and staff are amazing. They always listen to my concerns and make changes to my treatment accordingly. The nurses and staff in the chemo suite are wonderful. They are kind, attentive and knowledgable. I am happy with my care here and would recommend Boise Medical Oncology to anyone needing treatment for breast cancer."
"Dr. Zuckerman treated a friend of mine with pancreatic cancer and didn’t assess his liver properly before recommending the first series of chemo treatments, which destroyed his liver. The cancer shrank, but he died of liver failure followed by kidney failure. Like so many doctors these days, Zuckerman seems unable or unwilling to think outside the box, to take the time to do the proper tests before rushing headlong into chemo, or to predict obvious outcomes. The word cirrhosis was never mentioned until after the chemo treatments, when the liver started to fail. We knew he had a fatty liver, but never did Dr. Zuckerman warn him that chemo treatments might destroy his liver. He is now dying horribly. If this had been told to him, he probably would’ve chosen the homeopathic treatments rather than chemotherapy. And, of course, unlike other occupations, doctors get away with basically killing people every day. Stay away from this place and find a doctor who cares, and who thoroughly assessed his patients individually rather than just feeding them into an assembly line. The second problem is that every test, test result, and procedure takes weeks. People who are fighting for their lives don’t have time for that."
