Dr. Lewis and Dr. Schultheiss have always taken their time to answer my questions, and I feel I am treated as a human being and not an illness. Thank you for that. "As a Nurse Practitioner she did what she had to do. However, my appointment was with my doctor, Karl Schultheiss, and I expected to see him. If he was not going to be available I should have been notified and given the option to change my appointment. I was at the hospital the day before to give a blood sample for testing and at that time they should have known Dr. Schultheiss was not going to be available and notify me. A NP is a good and respected professional but I don't believe he or she can or should replace the doctor in charge of my care."
