"Their dress code policy is a joke. They make the policy so the boys don't distracted during "their" education. My daughter was told to change her top because it was distraction. This school and their policy is just one example of why our society is the way it is. They don't teach boys it's wrong.....they teach girls it's wrong to distract the boys!! Lewis and Clark Middle School should be ashamed of how they treat their students."
"The school have a good staff and great environment for kids . My kids have a good experience at the school for the last two years, so do I, teachers are very responsive to emails and try to work things out in some way. Now I have something to add about the new grading policy which started as of the new semester: it's an unfair way to grade assignments . Kids started the semester with teachers saying " it's the beginning of the semester, you all have A 's as a new grade " which is not accurate one of the teachers start to give them class work with four parts that needs about 15 minutes , she gave them 5 minutes to finish it and so many teachers with in the last four days did the same . How they are justifying it " That will help you get your work done on time when you be in college " well good luck because I don't think kids will have a chance to graduate middle school with that new policy if everyone keeps getting 'F's' on each assignment . My opinion is that the teachers need some training of how to treat kids and how to understand grading policy, I have a feeling the teachers is misunderstanding the new grading policy ."
"I'm going into 8th grade and I'm currently planning on going into lcms for my second year. Lcms been the first school I have ever been comfortable learning in. I love the teachers and how they take time to make sure that each and every student understands the topic. I especially remember sitting down with my math teacher multiple times discussing a few topics I didn't quite understand. The only reason why this is a four-star not five-star rating is because I knew at least one or two teachers who wear unfair to me and my peers and where intellectually dishonest. But I have to say I've spent some years of school in Arizona and coming from Arizona to Idaho has been a huge change. And I think one of the best changes was the school I was in."
"This school I would not go to. The teachers are rude and very disrespectful. I will never send my kids here.. My first appearance is that they don't know how to make family feel comfortable and they are just fake.. That pretty much tells the story"
"My daughter attended last year, as well as this year...and will return next year for 8th. We've had an incredible experience here! So far (knock on wood), we haven't dealt w drugs, or bullying. I'm a bit concerned that there is no math book (common core - curriculum designed by district & teachers), but communication has been great w the teachers & staff. We've had no issues here! I highly recommend!"
